These terms govern your use of Loredex (loredex.io). By using the service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

Loredex is a cited, structured reference to the world's myth, legends, and folklore. We provide a searchable knowledge graph, entity pages, and an API for programmatic access via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Subscriptions

• Pricing. Access to the Loredex API requires a subscription at US$99 per year, billed annually.
• Trial. New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. You can cancel during the trial at no charge.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each year. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

API Access

• Each subscription includes one API key for MCP access.
• API keys are personal and must not be shared or redistributed.
• We enforce rate limits to ensure fair access. Current limits are published in the API documentation.

Acceptable Use

You may use Loredex for research, reference, and integration with your own tools. You may not:

• Bulk scrape or systematically download the knowledge graph.
• Redistribute Loredex data as a competing dataset or service.
• Share or resell your API key.
• Use the service to harass, mislead, or harm others.

Content and Attribution

• Primary sources in the Loredex knowledge graph are in the public domain. Loredex does not claim copyright over primary source material.
• Loredex editorial content — including entity descriptions, relationship mappings, structured metadata, and prose synthesis — is copyrighted by Loredex.
• You may quote Loredex editorial content with attribution. You may not reproduce it in bulk.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Liability

Loredex is provided as-is. We are not liable for decisions made based on information in the knowledge graph. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before any claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
