Suppinabiles
Minor Arthurian knight who served as messenger between Brittany and King Arthur's court.
Suppinabiles is a minor knight attested in Le Morte d'Arthur who serves as a messenger between Brittany and King Arthur's court. He departed unto Brittany, where he found Sir Tristram and reported what he had heard at court (Le Morte d'Arthur, Le Morte d'Arthur > Book VIII > Chapter XXXVII). Suppinabiles conveyed Sir Launcelot's words of condemnation, telling Tristram that Launcelot spoke "great shame" of him and declared him "a false knight to your lady," warning that Launcelot would be his mortal enemy wherever they might meet (Le Morte d'Arthur, Le Morte d'Arthur > Book VIII > Chapter XXXVII).
