Humble is an early Danish king attested in the Gesta Danorum. Elected to the kingship upon his father's death, he enjoyed a distinction described as "a novel favour from his country" (Gesta Danorum, Book One). His reign, however, proved short-lived: he was defeated and captured by Lother in war and compelled to surrender his crown in exchange for his life (Gesta Danorum, Book One).

Humble is the father of Dan and Angul (Gesta Danorum, Book One). His connection to Lother is defined by conflict rather than kinship: Lother overthrew him and seized the Danish throne (Gesta Danorum, Book One).
