Sir Hue is a knight in Le Morte d'Arthur who encounters Sir Uwaine in combat. The episode records that Uwaine "spurred his horse and came upon Sir Hue and overthrew him" (Le Morte d'Arthur, Book IV, Chapter XXVII). Seeing his companion defeated, "Sir Hue: he kneeled down and yielded him to Sir Uwaine" (Le Morte d'Arthur, Book IV, Chapter XXVII).

The aftermath restores justice: "the lady was restored of all her lands, and Sir Hue was commanded to be at the court of King Arthur at the next feast of Pentecost" (Le Morte d'Arthur, Book IV, Chapter XXVII). The command to appear at Pentecost is the standard Arthurian pattern by which defeated knights are absorbed into the Round Table's orbit.
