Sir Hewgon is a knight in Le Morte d'Arthur who encounters Sir Alisander during the episode of Alice la Beale Pilgrim. The text records that "there came another knight that hight Sir Hewgon, and Sir Alisander smote him down as he did that other" (Le Morte d'Arthur, Book X, Chapter XXXIX). Unhorsed but undaunted, "Sir Hewgon proffered to do battle on foot" (Le Morte d'Arthur, Book X, Chapter XXXIX). He serves as one of the knights who test Alisander's prowess, defeated swiftly in succession.
