Grani Gunnar's son
Minor antagonist in Njal's Saga whose courage fails when facing Kari.
Grani Gunnar's son appears in Njal's Saga as a minor antagonist. Mord Valgard's son revealed that Grani and Gunnar Lambi's son had been set to kill a target, "but their hearts failed them, and they dared not to fall on thee" (Njal's Saga, 108. Of the Slander of Mord Valgard's Son). Later, Grani and Gunnar Lambi's son boasted they would make Kari afraid if left alone with him, but Hall warned them "ye will find it a dear bargain to deal with him" (Njal's Saga, 145. Of Kari and Thorgeir).
