Forsete is attested in the Prose Edda as the son of Balder and Nanna (Nep's daughter). He "settles all disputes" in his hall Glitner, where "all who come to him with disputes go away perfectly reconciled" (Prose Edda, The Asas). This single attestation establishes him as the divine arbiter of the Norse pantheon.
