Queen Ellisif appears in the Heimskringla as the wife of Harald Hardrade (also called Harald Sigurdson). She was the daughter of Jarisleif of Novgorod. The Heimskringla records that she came from England with her stepson Olaf and her daughter Ingegerd (Heimskringla, Of Olaf Haraldson's Expedition To Norway). Her daughter Astrid is also attested.
Ellisif was the spouse of Harald Hardrade and the daughter of Jarisleif. She was the mother of Ingegerd and Astrid.
